I began this website over ten years ago, and I have been surprised and delighted by the broad spectrum of people who use it. The moon calendar has been used by hikers and gardeners; fishermen and novelists; historians, wedding planners, hunters and a broad array of others whose interest I never imagined when I wrote the program. The earth viewer applet was used by the National Science Foundation to illustrate Antarctic seasons. The trebuchet found its way to our local elementary school as a teaching aid for classes studying the Middle Ages. My other projects have generated interest far beyond what I had originally envisioned, and I continue to receive emails from a huge variety of sources.
